Titan Cover Finished!

So I've finally (hopefully) finished the comic cover I was commissioned to do by www.titanseries.blogspot.de ..... It only took me FOREVER because of the colours and such. And I've been busy drawing my own comic for school. But I'm pretty proud of how it turned out :) It's the sequel to Titan: The Midnight Hour (Which you can check out in Mosaics, if you live in the lovely Kelowna as most awesome people do, like myself, although not at the moment...)

Titan: City UnderSiege cover sketch.

The cover sketch for Hugh's book Titan: City UnderSiege.  I actually quite like it, as it took me most of today for some reason. I'm just good at being distracted by things I guess. Taken with my awesome (not really) camera as I do not have a scanner anymore. Sadly.

By the way, I hate putting pictures on this website. Why is it so difficult? :I You can find the blog for Titan here: http://titanseries.blogspot.de/

Hamburger Kunsthalle.

So as some of you may know, I am now temporarily living in Hamburg, Germany for an exchange for school! Coming from a fairly small town in Canada, this is a very big change, pretty much culture shock. And everyone speaks German. DUH. Although I find it difficult to communicate with people, this place is amazing!

It's super weird now understanding anyone's conversations around you, or when they ask you questions, or being able to read signs for that matter. It makes you constantly feel like a tourist, although technically you are not. My classes are going to be in English (hopefully that part on the website is true) and will be attending HAW Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. SUPER COOL. I know.

Anyroad, I went to the Hamburger Kunsthalle today, which is a big art museum by the central train station. Mind you, I got lost along the way, but really, getting lost is like my full time hobby now. The main exhibitions were Ferdinand Hodler, Aleksandr Dejneka, Neo Rauch, and Louise Bourgeois.

NEO RAUCH

Seriously, I wish I was half as badass as this guy looks.

FERDINAND HOLFER

ALEKSANDR DEJNEKA

LOUISE BOURGEOIS

And some minimalist art:

As you can see, I have given up arranging pictures on this website, because it is damn difficult. Anyroad, the museum was pretty cool indeed, and I got to go in free because I'm an art student. Too bad the lady at the front desk was a cow.

Fishbones.

And here, another comic in the month of February!

-Fishbones-

This wonderful comic is written by Jisuk Cho and drawn by Yuki S. It involves cats, mysterious girls, and the mafia. Which is, of course, awesome. Hands down. The drawings are just spectacular as well as the story! The main character is one Ferris ‘Fishbones’ Levinstein, whose father happens to be the bookeeper for the mafia in Southport, NY. Ferrish frequently finds himself cleaning up after his friend's messes and getting himself into some pretty sticky situations. With his sarcastic attitude, awesome glasses, and plentiful scarves, what's not to love?
